Ammobia Selects Genesis as Technical and Engineering Advisor to Scale Up its Novel Disruptive Ammonia Production Technology
SAN FRANCISCO, CA and HOUSTON, TX— Mar. 25, 2025 — Ammobia Inc., a pioneering startup revolutionizing low-cost, sustainable ammonia production technology, has partnered with Genesis, a Technip Energies’ independent consulting arm, to accelerate the deployment of its groundbreaking ammonia synthesis process.
Ammobia scaled up its proprietary reactor technology 250X in 2024 and, with Genesis’ expertise and track record in bringing new technology to market, aims to achieve another 1000X scale-up by 2026 as the commercial pilot. This major step forward will accelerate the adoption of sustainable ammonia within the chemical industry and across sectors such as agriculture, energy and transportation.
Together, the two companies conducted a comprehensive engineering study to validate the process, showcase its advantages over conventional approaches like the Haber Bosch method, and enable sustainable, scalable clean ammonia production. The analysis verified its substantially lower operating pressures and temperatures, which reduced greenhouse gas emissions and boosted economic efficiency.
